Description[]
The Wraith is an event enemy appearing in the Halloween 2020 and Halloween 2023 Event, which first makes its debut on Wave 12 during the Halloween 2020 Event. It has a fast speed, a whopping health-pool of 2000 health in the Halloween 2020 Event, and an even larger health-pool of 2200 health in the Halloween 2023 Event.
Appearance[]
The Wraith is a transparent red figure that floats, while dangling their legs. Their arms are always drooping, as they seem to be in a gloomy position. They have four neon black eyes, along with a chain around their neck, as it dangles sideways as the Wraith moves. the Wraith also emits a red glowing aura, similar to the Ghost. The Wraith is similar to the Ghost and Spirit but only much bigger.
Tactics[]
- Wraiths require hidden detection, it is generally recommended to use level 3 Aviators to grant Hidden Detection support to towers within its range.
- Effectively countering Wraiths require high burst damage. Tubers and Commandos can do damage but are generally ineffective.
- Flamethrowers and Hallowboomers can hinder the Wraiths speed down by 40%, if granted Hidden Detection.
- Although Commandoes are generally pricy, and not very cheap. When around 6-8 Commandoes are Level 5, and paired with Level 3 Commanders, it’s likely that it can deal tons of damage towards the Wraith, although this isn’t recommended.
- Several Level 4-5 Railgunners with Hidden Detection either from Aviator, or Golden Scout paired with Commanders Call To Arms Ability, is capable of shredding Wraiths, and killing them.
- A Level 5 Graveyards Spawned-Road-Unit Haunted Knights are able to chip away HP from the Wraiths, making it easier for the Graveyards Jacks to chip HP from the Wraiths, and tank the Wraiths health.
- Several Level 4-5 Phasers paired with a Level 3-4/5 DJ can shred the Wraiths HP, but Commandoes will need to kill the smaller enemies in order for the Phasers to lock on to the Wraiths.
Trivia[]
- The Wraith is the fourth zombie that can pass through Spawned Units, the others being Ghost, Spirit, and Witch.
- Compared to the Ghost and Spirit, the Wraith makes an echoing-like grunt upon spawning and makes a faint screech upon death.
- The Wraith is the only enemy that received a stat change when Halloween 2020 event re-ran in 2023.
- The Grim also received a change in form of a Boss healthbar, but remained the same.
