The Tuber is a splash-damaging ground tower that can be purchased for 800 with a placement cost of $800.

Overview

The Tuber launches explosive rockets that deals 4 damage to the target it directly hits and 4 splash damage to all enemies within its 3.2 stud splash radius. At level 1, it fires once per 4.3 seconds, dealing 0.93 direct and splash damage per second against a single target. The Tuber specializes in crowd control, capable of wiping out clusters of Mysteries, Boss1s, and Lavas during early to mid-game defense. In contrast to the Mortar, the Tuber has a lower splash radius and range but has increased damage and gains Hidden detection at level 3.

Upgrades

Faster Reloading ($320)

Firerate decreases from 4.3s to 3.6s. Sell price changes to $560.

Goggles ($600)

The Tuber now has Hidden detection. Range increases from 16 to 19.5. Sell price changes to $860.

RPG ($1,800)

Direct damage increases from 4 to 10. Splash damage increases from 4 to 14. Splash radius increases from 3.2 to 5.1. Range increases from 19.5 to 20.5. Sell price changes to $1,760.

High Tech Microwave ($8,500)

Bugs

• On some occasions, some of the Tuber's accessories and weapons will not appear or appear incorrectly when upgraded.
• In rare occasions, the Tuber will be randomly rotated when placed.
• The level 4 Tuber will spawn small white rods over the map, which count as part of the Tuber. This, however, does not affect the gameplay and the rods will disappear once the Tuber is upgraded to level 5.
• The Toxic will not disperse gas upon being killed by the Tuber.
