Revenant is the final boss of the Winter 2022 Event, making its debut in Wave 15. It has a high health pool of 500,000 but moves slightly faster than other final bosses. Shortly after it spawns, it takes it's sword mounted on it's back with his right arm.

Appearance

Revenant appears to be a giant skeleton completely shrouded in a dark blue hue. Its head is a dark blue skull with a pair of horns and multiple spikes protruding out of its top, while having glowing blue eyes. It wears a large fur cloak coated in a dark blue coloring with shoulder pads. It bears a necklace with small skulls that attaches to its fur cloak. It has skulls as its kneepads and wears boots. The torso appears to be cut open, revealing its ribcage and spine. Its choice of weapon is a large dark-blue sword.

Offensive Abilities

Winter Slam

The Revenant will slam its sword against the ground which causes ice spikes to erupt in a straight line, stunning towers that are hit for 10s. It will leave a status of 'Frozen' on the towers for the duration of their stun.

Frost Fire

The Revenant will exhale fire at nearby towers stunning them if they are within the range, for 15 seconds. This ability is done twice in some scenarios. The towers will have a status of 'Burning'.

Guardian Roar

The Revenant will roar, summoning 1-3 Goliath Frozen Gladiators from it's torso.

Tactics

• Because this boss has the same amount of HP as Void, you should use similar tactics you would use to fight it, but do note that Revenant appears much earlier than the Void, and moves faster as well.
• Using multiple Phasers can help with massive chip damage on the Revenant.
  • However, because of the large enemy horde full of Frozen Gladiators, the Phasers may not be able to directly target the Revenant itself unless the enemy horde was already cleared.
• Railgunners can help with massive damage too, however, it has a long cooldown between attacks, so this should be mainly used against enemy fodder that comes in the way.
  • Railgunners should mainly target the Frozen Gladiators that shield the Revenant since Phasers should be ones doing the main damage to it.
• Jacks from the Graveyard tower can help immensely with big collision damage.
  • However, beware of the cost on the final level of Graveyard, since it's very expensive.
    • For that reason, it's best to place the Graveyard at the final wave, and once you have enough money (e.g. $40,000), you can summon Jack instantly.
  • Axe swings from Jack can also clear away enemy fodder that the Revenant spawns.
    • Spawns from the Graveyard (e.g. Haunted Knights) also can help with the enemy fodder.
• Commander and DJ should be used to reduce cost and boost fire-rate of other towers.
• The "Winter Slam" ability is by far one of the most dangerous abilities the Revenant may use, since it can freeze your towers for 10 seconds which in turn, allows other enemies like Goliath Frozen Gladiators to shield Revenant.
  • To counter this, micro-managing (the action of selling a tower and replacing it quickly) should be used.

Trivia

• Because Revenant and Frosty's appearances look similar, its speculated that this is Frosty but reborn. This is simply a theory,.as there is not enough solid evidence to back this up.
  • In addition, the boss' name "Revenant" means someone or something that has come back from the dead. The name would make sense if this theory was true. This theory may be false as Frosty's head is found on the map, however it might be his corpse and the Revenant is a mere reformation of him.
• Revenant has the 2nd highest health in the game. tied with Void at 500,000. Grim currently takes the 1st place with 700,000.
• Revenant's skull is the Black Skull Mask from the ROBLOX catalog.

Glitches

• When Revenant dies, it kneels down and all the lighting on its body disappears, making it a dark corpse which signifies the end of its life. However, in some cases, the death animation does not happen, and Revenant will remain frozen in place and will continue its walking animation until the players are teleported back to the lobby.
