Appearance[]
This map takes the appearance of a relatively large oil rig consisting of four smaller tiles. Zombies will come out of a large building (as seen in the very right of the map icon) and move down the path until they reach the end building, which bears heavy similarity to the building at the beginning of the map.
Tactics[]
- It is highly recommended not to use shorter range cliff-towers due to the minimal cliff spaces on the surrounding buildings.
- Patrol might not be a bad early game tower. Since this map is widely spread out, spawn towers work perfectly.
- Because of the way the path is formed, it creates many useful spots for tower placement. It is advised to bring mid-range towers, such as the Aviator or the Commando, in order to properly utilize this.
- The range boost from the Commander can help with this.
- Make sure to place long range towers near the middle so they can cover most of the track.
- It's advised to avoid this map in versus mode.
- The track length will make boss rushes easier to defend.
- Some loadouts struggle on this map, mostly because of its shape.
Trivia[]
- Currently City and Oil Rig are the the only maps that features weather, in both cases, rain.
- You can see Wayllon, 1BZ0 and other people in the control center.
