King Jack is the final Boss of the Halloween 2018 event. It has 250,000 health and walks at a very slow speed. King Jack has two offensive abilities in its quest to conquer the towers.
Appearance[]
King Jack is an enemy akin to Jack, but has many contrasts. King Jack's clothing is red and there are rusted chains on its body and legs. The noticeable appearance of King Jack is Sinister P pumpkin, which glows yellow instead of red inside. King Jack also has a black collar (retexture), a strap across his torso with a scythe, pumpkins, a large brown cape, and a bandolier on his back.
Offensive Abilities[]
Scythe Shockwave[]
King Jack is able to stun towers by slamming his scythe onto the ground, creating a shockwave that stuns towers for a random time of around 10 seconds. If the tower is close enough to King Jack, they'll catch on fire and be stunned for 1 minute.
Pumpkin Launcher[]
King Jack takes out its pumpkin launcher and shoots flaming pumpkins at random towers. This causes towers to be stunned for a minute.
Tactics[]
- Flamethrower and Hallowboomers can slow down King Jack and hordes of other enemies by 40%.
- Railgunners are effective at slowly chipping away his health.
- Many Level 5 Phasers can lock on and defeat him. However, his stunning ability is able to reset the Phaser's beam. Therefore, it is recommended to get multiple high-level Phasers far away from the path.
- A Commander is extremely useful for this as it can increase the range while also buffing the firerate of other towers.
Trivia[]
- The music that is used is a down-pitched version of "PAYDAY 2 - Where's the Van?!".
- In the teaser poster of Halloween 2018, King Jack was going to look different. He had longer sleeves, having less chains on his legs and torso. He lacks the collar around his head, wears a small cape, lacks the rusty armbands, and has different pumpkins strapped onto his chest.
- Based on appearance, King Jack didn't have his bandolier, but rather would throw pumpkins instead, just like Jack.
- There is a zombie stuck in a rock in the teaser poster of Halloween 2018, and is similar to the one in Farm Fields.
- King Jack' s Gravestone can be seen at Halloween 2020map Haunted Docks.
Update History[]
- (10/26/18) King Jack was added, along with the Halloween 2018 event.
- (10/26/18) King Jack's HP increased from 200,000 to 250,000.
- (10/27/18) Fixed a glitch where DJ's Apocalypse Rave ability locks King Jack in place, making him unable to walk.
- (11/18/18) King Jack was removed, marking the conclusion of Halloween 2018.
