The Goo is a fast mid-game enemy with 120 health. It spawns in a group of 4 on Wave 26 after a Slime is defeated. In total, it has a health-pool of 480 making it a relatively strong threat.
Appearance[]
The Goo appears as a small, dark and light green figure which appears to be made out of slime. Their appearance is nearly identical to the Slime.
Tactics[]
- Goos shouldn't pose as a high threat because are generally weak and most towers with fast firerate that are capable of sustaining great amounts of damage, such as the Commando, can eliminate them at ease.
- Level 4 or higher leveled units spawned by the Zed can tear through Goos with ease due to their high health and superior firerate.
- Even if the Goos spawn behind the unit after running over a Slime, the unit can still fire at at them, allowing none of them to escape.
- Phasers are not recommended for targeting Goos due to their slow cooldown time. Use other towers to support the Phaser.
- Because multiple Goos are clumped together when they spawn from a Slime, high level splash-damaging towers, such as Mortar can damage and clear them within a few shots.
- Frozen, stunned, and dancing Slimes won't spawn Goos. So, bringing towers like Enforcer and DJ will help counter Goos and Slimes.
Trivia[]
- The Goo splitting from the Slime is likely inspired by the Slime splitting upon death in Minecraft.
- Just like the Slime, if closely viewed, it can presumably be perceived, and prospected that the Super Slow is also in the Goo just like the Slime. This furthermore adds onto the point that Super Slow is still technically in the game.
- When Goo was first added alongside the Slime, it used to walk in place after the Slime died.
- The Goo's walk animation looks similar to the first animation of Boss1 after the July 22nd Update, and the Spawns of Void
