Not to be confused with the Wasteland map. Or Intimidator and Cursed Fjord.

Frozen Wastelands is a winter-themed map built by Beefchoplets and Bisyeet for the Winter Event. There are a handful of cliff positions in the map, including a cliff near a mound in the middle of the map, the towers, and a high to cliff to the far right.

Appearance

As its name suggests, the Frozen Wastelands is a map that is completely covered in ice. There are structures resembling watchtowers in different parts of the map, a gate portion right in the middle, and a giant sword right next to it, completely frozen and buried under the ice. The area around the map is also full of dead trees, and the entire map is covered with mountains.

Path Layout

The layout of the map is similar to that of Desert Outskirts, with a relatively straight path towards the end at the beginning and sharp bends near the end.

Strategy

• Placing an Aviator near the cliffs at the edge the farthest from the road can both help defend in earlier waves and help nearby towers spot Hidden Guardians when upgraded to level 3 (Spy Plane).
• Placing a lot of Commandos can help clear out zombies and bosses from the earlier waves.
• Railgunners with a Commander and DJ in the bend adds a lot of damage to clear away large health pool bosses and zombies.
• Phaser can be used to destroy Titans and Frosty on Wave 9 and 10.

Trivia

• A Commando can be seen fishing below an ice structure at the edge of the map.
• DoNotEatMyPoptart and Planet3arth's avatars can be seen roasting Beefchoplets' avatar over a campfire with a Golden Commando on the right side that's frozen to death at the corner of the main body of the map.
• A Golden Scout, Scout, and Red Scout can be seen sitting near a campfire at the corner of the main body of the map.
• SantaBot's head can be seen frozen together with a house.
• A broken statue of Planet3arth appears near the frozen waterfall.
• There is a mountain with no collision that leads to a gift and a mausoleum (from Halloween 2018) that says "DoNotEatMyPoptart".
• Frozen wastelands is the only map that was available to the public with an unknown length
