The Anarchist is a short ranged burst tower that can be purchased for 1,400 with a placement cost of $650 in Versus mode and $500 in Survival mode. It is currently the only Versus tower in Tower Battles.
The Anarchist is specialized exclusively for Versus mode, with its main purpose of sabotaging and disorienting the opposing team by using its offensive abilities. At level 1, the Anarchist fires a burst of 6 rounds every 0.1 seconds with a cooldown of 1.3 seconds between bursts, and spawns an Android to the opposing team's side in the first 2 seconds, then every 45 seconds afterwards.
Unlike most towers, the Anarchist's upgrades do not improve the statistical performance of itself until level 5 but instead, gains an offensive ability for each upgrade. These abilities can range from passively removing the opposing team's base health, spawning Mega Androids in place of regular Androids, and using smoke bombs and fireworks to debuff the opponent's towers.
The Anarchist has a strict placement limit of 1 and does not have Hidden detection at any level. Additionally, the Anarchist's starting and upgrade prices will be drastically reduced in Survival mode, however, its offensive abilities will be unavailable for use.
The Anarchist now gains a the Pyrotechnics ability. Damage increases from 1 to 3. Burst count increases from 6 to 9. Range increases from 8 to 16. Sell price changes to $5,400.

No effect. Sell price changes to $252.
Super Bots ($2)
No effect. Sell price changes to $253.
No Mercy ($2,500)

Attrition
30s Cooldown. Two base health is periodically removed from the opposing team until they have one or two health remaining.
Smokes ($400)
20s Initial Cooldown. 60s Cooldown. A helicopter will drop a smoke bomb on a selected location, lasting 12 seconds. Affected towers succumbed to the 5.5 stud smoke radius will have their range reduced by -50%.
Pyrotechnics ($900)
15s Initial Cooldown. 60s Cooldown. A helicopter will launch fireworks on a selected location. Affected towers within the fireworks' 4.5 stud radius will be stunned for 6 seconds and 50 damage will be dealt to spawned units.
The Anarchist has tan skin, black apparel, cap, armband, black camouflage bandana mask, radio backpack, holds a console on one hand, and wields an Intratec TEC-9 on the other.

The Anarchist wears metal shoulderguards, armbands, and wrist bands on both arms, a skull-like mask with neon green stitched smile markings, and wields an HK G36C with green and red laser sights.
The Anarchist's level 2 upgrade, "Attrition", functions similarly to the COBRA's upgrade of the same name from Bloons TD Battles Mobile.
During early development of the Anarchist, it was called the "Renegade" and wore in a red apparel, cap, and wielded an HK G36C.
Bugs[]
Towers that are upgraded while under the effects of the Anarchist's Smoke ability will have their range indefinitely reduced by -50% until they are smoke bombs are dropped onto them again.
In some occasions, the Anarchist's unit spawn is delayed.
