The Tuber is a tower that fires a rocket, damaging any zombies caught within the blast radius. The Tuber specializes in crowd control, being able to wipe out groups of zombies. At level 1, it shoots once per 4 seconds, dealing 4 direct damage to the target and 4 splash damage to it and targets around it (1 Single DPS) (1 Splash DPS).

Appearance

The Tuber wears a green beanie and green clothing with no sleeves and has a rocket launcher (AT-4) that it uses as its base weapon.

Upgrades

Level 2: Faster Reloading ($320)

• Now shoots once per 3 seconds. (~1.33 Single DPS) (~1.33 Splash DPS)
• Added cosmetics: Black Gloves.
• Sell price changes to $560.

Level 3: Goggles ($600)

• Allows Tuber to target camouflaged enemies.
• Increases range by a moderate amount.
• Added cosmetics: Night vision goggles.
• Sell price changes to $860.

Level 4: RPG ($1,800)

• The blast radius is increased.
• Direct damage increase to 10 (+6) (~3.3 Single DPS)
• Damage per shot increased from 4 to 14. (+10) (~4.6 Splash DPS)
• Slightly increases range
• Added cosmetics: Replaced rocket launcher with an RPG, gets darker clothing, and gets a scarf that conceals its face

Level 5: High Tech Microwave ($8,500)

• The blast radius is significantly increased.

• Direct damage increase to 40 (+30) (~13.3 Single DPS)

• Added cosmetics: Blue apparel, replaced the RPG with a futuristic missile launcher and futuristic rockets along with a blue explosion rather than an orange one with a laser sight and a backpack carrying extra missiles.

Tactics

• Multiple high level Tubers are extremely effective at killing swarms of Lightnings and chipping health off of Boss3s
• 1-2 Max level Tubers can effectively counter Boss2 rushes, due to their slow speed.
• Tuber is effective at clearing out groups of cannon fodder zombies such as Slows, Mysteries, and Lavas depending on the level.
• At the beginning of the game, Tuber can be used as an early game tower. However, it is outclassed by other towers in terms of DPS and cost efficiency such as Mercenary. Instead, it is recommended to be used as mid-game crowd control waves 13+ to deal with the clusters of mysteries, Boss1s, and Lavas that spawn
• Tuber is effective at weakening medium-high health zombies such as Boss1s, Lavas, Lightnings and to some extent, Slimes and Goos.
• Tubers are good at killing closely stacked boss rushes.
• Low level tubers in the early game can easily clear out hordes of slows.
• It is not recommended to use this tower in 1v1s, as it is outclassed by other splash towers in terms of DPS and cost efficiency at most levels by towers such as Plasma Trooper and Mortar.
  • However, it can outshine both Plasma and Mortar in 3v3s and 4v4s with its higher cost efficiency at max level, mainly in the midgame (waves 19-31).

Trivia

• The Tuber deals nearly the same direct damage as its splash. It's just that the splash damage gets inflicted to any zombie in the blast, including the one the direct damage was inflicted on, so the zombie that was hit directly takes the direct + splash damage, thus resulting in double the damage. If you look carefully, you can see that the splash damage is dealt a split second after the direct damage is inflicted.
• Previously, the Tuber's final upgrade was named "Nuker" instead of "High Tech Microwave" in addition to having a white explosion rather than a blue explosion.
• Tuber used to be the only tower that would deal double damage to its enemy that it was directed at, while dealing half of that to surrounding enemies. The 7/22 update removed it, but ever since 7/25, it came back but with some differences.
• The beanie that the Tuber wears is a green version of the Roblox catalog item Italian Ski Cap.
• Toxics killed by the Tuber do not explode on death

Bugs/Glitches

• Sometimes, when upgrading a Tuber, some accessories will not appear or will appear incorrectly, such as the scarf or the correct rocket launcher.
• Rarely, when placing a Tuber, he will be randomly rotated until he targets a zombie and shoots at it.
  • This can sometimes also happen to the Aviator's platform
• A level 4 Tuber will spawn small white rods over the map, which count as part of the Tuber, and will display the name when a user hovers their cursor over them. However, this does not affect gameplay and the rods will disappear when upgraded to Level 5.
• The Tuber can sometimes shoot rockets that get stuck and spin midair.
